Really love their grilled cheese -- so many complex and rich flavors! Goes amazingly well with the tomato soup which cuts through the richness. Coffee is decent too. They have 2 storeys. Pretty chill to also sit down and work. Also super convenient that they open bright and early!

The store near MacRitchie Reservoir Park opens quite early. After our morning run at the park, we took the bus for just one stop to get there. It’s not a fancy café with a great view or expensive decorations, and they don’t charge a service fee. However, that doesn’t mean they don’t serve great food. The avocado toast was simple, with just a sunny-side-up egg, half an avocado, and bread. But the bread was really good, and the spices on the toast were quite tasty. My friends ordered a salmon bagel and an avocado chicken bagel, and both gave positive feedback on their dishes. The coffee is quite pricy but tastes good. What surprised us was that the food and coffee were served very fast. We started enjoying our meals almost around five mins after ordered. All in all, I’d love to come back again whenever we have our running sessions here.

This unassuming café serves strong coffee. The latte I had was rich and aromatic, with a bold flavor that I like. The sourdough bread was crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, giving a great texture that paired well with the roast chicken and onion filling. The café also has a second floor for seating, but space is limited, so it’s a good idea to call ahead if you’re planning to dine in.

Two storeys so feel free to choose where you’ll like to sit. Great coffee, unassuming place. We ordered some light snacks to share and the cauliflower was great too. Heard it’s opened really early and is one of the earliest to open in this stretch. Accessible by bus and a short walk.

This cafe opens at 6am until 6pm for weekends! The reviews are not the best but still decided to try myself:) Good cafe space for work/ study, and very nice service! I ordered their grilled cheese with tomato soup - which was actually amazing!! The bread toasted so well, v buttery & crunchy, filled with generous amount of salty and sweet cheese. Tomato soup was sour which is up to my liking. Black coffee was pretty decent.

I keep coming back because everything here is just tip top. Friendly faces, good vibes, and service that’s always warm and effortless. The coffee is so good. Even if I’m no expert I know a good cup when I taste one. The baristas are absolute pros, they know their craft and it shows in every sip. The food has so much variety, always full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and never disappoints. My ultimate favourite is the Breakfast muffins. The sourdough toast with tomato soup is pure comfort in a bowl. The cinnamon rolls are great too. You guys are the best and it shows in every little detail. Can’t wait for Ramadan to be over and come back.

The tea was not bad, and the chicken seems to be those microwaved ones, but what do you expect from a cafe? You'll come here because the drinks are decent, and the atmosphere is good for chilling. There's a upper floor with more space, and some privacy if not many people are around. Good for a quick bout of work, or HTHT with your friends.
